VIGINSENG is committed to changing this by supporting ethnic minority farmers in Vietnam’s mountainous regions, providing high-quality seedlings at preferential prices, technical training, and opportunities for sustainable income. This helps farmers transition from unsustainable wild harvesting to controlled ginseng cultivation.

Vietnamese Ginseng is in high demand in both domestic and international markets thanks to its distinctive bioactive compounds, which are valued for their potential benefits in supporting immune function, relieving stress, and helping prevent chronic diseases. However, many ethnic minority farmers still depend on harvesting wild ginseng, resulting in unstable incomes and threatening forest ecosystems.
Our project aims to support 100 farming households, helping them increase their annual income to VND 500 million, a 50% increase compared with the regional average. This represents a significant economic improvement, particularly for low-income communities.

One of the biggest barriers to ginseng cultivation is the high cost of seedlings. Many farmers cannot afford quality planting materials, resulting in low yields and inconsistent production. VIGINSENG addresses this challenge by supplying high-quality ginseng seedlings at affordable prices, helping reduce farmers’ financial burden.
In addition, we collaborate with biotechnology centers to develop tissue-cultured seedlings, which can improve survival rates and growth performance compared with traditional propagation methods.

- Exporting to high-demand markets such as South Korea, Japan, and Europe
