Since 2023, VIGINSENG has devoted considerable effort to establishing a 1-hectare experimental farm at an altitude of 1,700 meters in Lac Duong, Lam Dong. This site has a special mission: to conduct in-depth research into the acclimatization of national treasures such as Ngoc Linh Ginseng and Lai Chau Ginseng. We understand that relocating these highly demanding medicinal plants from their original natural habitats and cultivating them in an entirely new ecological environment presents a significant challenge.
After a long period of persistent experimentation, we are proud to have achieved encouraging initial results: the ginseng plants have successfully taken root, grown healthily, and adapted well to the climate and soil conditions of Lam Dong. Nevertheless, we see this as only the beginning. Our research journey continues as our team of experts conducts more in-depth assessments of active compound accumulation, root system development, and actual yield potential. All data gathered from this model provides a solid foundation for VIGINSENG to refine standardized cultivation practices before confidently transferring the techniques to our partners.
